Your Favorite Scent

Are you someone who enjoys going into stores during the holidays or anytime for that matter and smell the different candles or other product with scents? I love to do this but unfortunately my hubby gets a headache from the scents so he goes somewhere else till I am done. (Hum that might be a good thing)

With SilkBody Spa you can add your favorite scents in the lotions, scrubs, massage oil and soaps.

I would like to talk with you about the different scents we do offer and give you some background on them. Today I will talk about Apricot Freesia, Banana and Blueberry Delight.

APRICOT FREESIA

This is an upbeat blend of fruit and floral. If you don't like fruit scents because they're too sweet, try Apricot Freesia. This is a clean, fresh floral. Not too "flowery," with a delicate crispness to it.

BANANA

Its antioxidants benefits help protect against environmental pollutants, that can be damaging to the skin. Skin can be moisturized, soft and protected.

BLUEBERRY DELIGHT

This fragrance smells just like fresh baked Blueberry Biscotti drenched in Blueberry Syrup. It's not a straight single note Blueberry but rather a blend of fresh dessert goodness with notes of flour, custard, sugar and vanilla.

Each of these scents will wake up your senses and help you get thorough the day especially if you use the fragrance soap in the shower. All your stress will go away.

Hosting parties

Thinking about hosting a party but don't know which party to host. That's easy.

A friend of mine hosted two parties in one. She hosted a Scentsy party (the plug in holders and scents), a 31 purse party.  I thought that was great. When I got there I was able to shop two different stores and enjoy meeting people as well.

I decided to try it out. Since I own my own home-based business what a better way to get noticed. So I hosted a 3 in 1 party. I sent out invitations that I made to several of my friends. I hosted Scentsy, 31 purse and SilkBody Spa (my business). It was a big hit. I was able to showcase my products along with well known companies. It was a great ice breaker for me and for my friends.

My friends were able to freely roam around my home to view, try and purchase products from three different companies. I had mine in the kitchen. My friends were able to try my products, smell the different scents that I have available and purchase my products along with Scentsy and 31.

So now I am telling my friends that if they want and enjoy hosting parties why not do several parties in one. They get more freebies (with companies who give items away), and can get more friends, family and neighbors to come to the parties.

Think about it and try it. Let me know what you think and how it worked out.

Thanks.

The starting of SilkBody Spa

Hate having to go to a spa in order to relieve stress and get away. Experience a spa treatment at home without having to spend a lot of money. Silkbody Spa was started by a friend of mine several years ago but she decided to go in another direction so I talk to my husband and told him that I believe in the products and decided to take over the business. All the products are all-natural and it is a home-based business. I make a variety of soaps and always looking for new soap design ideas. The Romantic massage oil which I personally love does not leave an oily feeling on my skin. The scrubs are also a great way to do a spa treatment on your hands, feet, knees or even all over. You can if you use very little use it on your face.

There are people who are allergic to dyes, alcohol or something that is in some products purchased in the stores. With my products there are no harsh chemicals or alcohol or dyes that will irritate your skin. That is one of the biggest reason I decided to do this business. I have sensitive skin and also dry skin so I use the products and my skin loves it. I do not use lye in my soaps. I feel if I have to use gloves to work with lye then I don't want that on my skin.

My business is located in Berea, Kentucky and I do home shows. I recently did my first party and teamed up with two other ladies who sell products. I teamed up with Scentsy and 31 purse. I had three parties in one. It is a great way to sell products and have customers shop for different products under one roof.  So if you want to have a great party do several companies at one time. Your friends will love it.
